Trachycarpus fortunei "Nanital" x "Bulgaria" 1 gallon

Description

1 gallon Trachycarpus fortunei "Nanital" x "Bulgaria". These were extras from a seed batch that I grew for myself and personally bought from the grower in Bulgaria (nearly all of them germinated). Nanital is a very hardy selection from the mountains of India and was first accidentally confused with T. takil. But has turned out to be an excellent selection in its own right with stiff leaves. Nanital is bigger, better and faster than typical fortunei. The Bulgarian variety is also an excellent selection which was grown and bred in that country and has stiff foliage. Bulgaria is often considered the most cold hardy variety of fortunei and grow quickly in NC and seem quite heat tolerant.  This cross should make excellent palms with quick growth and improved cold hardiness. I ship all plants USPS Priority Mail, without the pot but well wrapped to protect the root ball.
